ASSISTANT PARTNERSHIP MANAGER - NATIONAL PROGRAMMES AND COACH DEVELOPMENT
Job Title: Assistant MITC Partnership Manager (National)
Reports to: MITC Partnership Manager (National)
Location: Hybrid; Lord’s Cricket Ground, London, various venues around Middlesex
Up to 50% of role will be spent coaching
Administrative days to be completed at an MITC office
Contract Term: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum
Purpose of the Job:
You will play an important role in ensuring that there is a comprehensive cricket offer accessible across the county for any young person aged over 5 years and create sustainable partnerships with local authorities, community organisations and other sporting bodies to ensure we have a comprehensive community offer across the City.
Main Duties:
- Undertake the duties below alongside the MITC Partnership Manager who has responsibility for the specific areas and partnerships within the county and with key stakeholders.
- This role requires an average of 50% community coach delivery and 50% administrative support to the MITC Partnership Manager.
Administrative Support:
- Assist the MITC Partnership Manager with key duties
- Work with schools and clubs within the areas specified above, inspiring children and teachers to be excited about cricket through administration and delivery - actively supporting the transition between schools, clubs and community offers
- Assist clubs in creating and maintaining an environment that is safe for all participants, including use of the Safe Hands Management System and ClubMark accreditation
- Provide club development support to clubs and leagues if requested, as part of their affiliation to MITC.
Specific Criteria:
- Assist the MITC Partnership Manager with the Coach Development offering within Middlesex
- Assist the MITC Partnership Manager with facility development including assisting the pitch support network and maintain up to date records
- Assist the MITC Partnership Manager with the roll-out of National Programmes, and take-up on ClubSpark
Community Coaching:
- Deliver on C2S sessions (schools, street) and other community sessions as appropriate
- Ensure high standards of coaching across all aspects of MITC delivery.
- Deliver junior Middlesex County Cricket Club membership days
- Support the delivery of MITC team community events and Middlesex County Cricket Club match day activation.
- Assist MITC Partnership Managers & Community Coaches with club development projects & events.
- Lead on the delivery of non-traditional All Stars and Dynamos cricket sessions.
- Champion and articulate MITC’s participation offers to our key stakeholders and at engagement events
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
- Good organisation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively internally and externally
- Ability to build and create new relationships
- Be enthusiastic about the programmes and content being delivered
- Promote Middlesex County Cricket Club, Middlesex in the Community and other initiatives that the club offers as and when appropriate
- Be self motivated and have the ability to motivate others
- Good IT skills and experience of using MS Platforms
